  #PhantastikPrompts 04.08.2026 Hast du schon einmal einen real existierenden Menschen zu deiner Hauptfigur gemacht? Wie hat er reagiert? Nein, und ich glaube, es würde mir auch schwerfallen. Real existierende (und mittlerweile tote) Menschen tauchen in meinen historischen Geschichten als Nebenfiguren auf, und zwar zu hauf, aber niemals als Hauptfigur. Lebende Menschen würde ich ehrlich gesagt nie zu einer Hauptfigur machen. Das wäre mir viel zu intim.

  #WritersCoffeeClub 4 Aug ~ Do you consider yourself a writer, an author, an artist, something else? Why? I'm a writer and the author of several books. I write stories, thus, I'm a writer. And you can be the author of many things. I'm also the author of the post, btw. I don't consider myself an artist because, well, my stories aren't that artistic. They're normal stuff. No Pulitzer price waiting for me.

  #PhantastikPrompts 05.08. Gibt es Themen, die sich durch dein Gesamtwerk wie ein roter Faden hindurchziehen? Vor #FridaVonHameln waren meine Hauptfiguren oft vergleichsweise jung und dabei, ihren Platz im Leben zu finden. Frida hat das durcheinander geworfen - wobei, auf meine wichtigste Nebenfigur Marek trifft zumindest der Teil mit dem Finden zu. Und von meiner Warte aus ist er auch noch jung, obwohl seine Zeitgenossen vermutlich ein etwas anderes Verständnis von Alter hatten 😊

I'm currently rereading some books on my ereader, but my newest additions (which I've read by now) were "Verzauberte und Unbesungene" by @Ardeija and "Ruinous Attraction" by @rubyjones Recommendation for both of them, although, to be fair, you need to be fluent in German to read the first!

Well, I do have ideas, but none resonate enough with me at the moment to start writing again. So... On the other hand, as someone already pointed out, it doesn't have to be *good* ideas.   Falscher Monat!! #PhantastikPrompts 28.7. Wie denkst du über Fortsetzungen? Ist bei dir alles aus, wenn dein Buch zu Ende ist, oder lässt du deine Figuren noch weitere Abenteuer erleben? #DieSängerVonThurán waren als 1 Buch geplant. Dass sich 2 weitere anschließen würden... Aber bei einem bin ich strikt: Ich lasse eine Geschichte erst los, wenn sie auserzählt ist. Ich würde also jetzt keine Fortsetzung mehr schreiben, Jann hat seine Ruhe verdient. Evtl. lasse ich aber Mia bei #Kyznon auftreten.

  alright. I just deleted bluesky and decided to leave that hate- crap behind. Emily could stand on her head and wriggle her toes and they still claim she's fake. And yes, the cover of Frida might resemble something an AI would puke out - but after all, all AI were trained on real art. Just like i won't give up my n-dash. I'm sticking with it. I might never hire another Cover artist though - one time of this all out assault was enough. Plain covers it is from now on. I left...

I have now 4 different versions and none pleases me. Plus, I have read the first chapters so many times that I'm getting bored. Part of me wants to abandon the project, part needs to see it done. Her clothes are practical - trousers, shirts, sweaters, practical shoes or boots and warm coats - but they are also clean, fit and match.   #WritersCoffeeClub 4 May: Is there a scene or a character or even a plot you regret adding to a finished work? No. If I'm not happy, I change it and it's not finished. Even with regard to book 2 and 3 of my debut trilogy where I now know I reveled way too much in the MCs past - it needs a rework, for sure, but at the time, I loved every scene. I just grew up some more 😂 And I'll do that rework when "I've got time".

Lucie aus #VonElfenUndWölfen interessiert sich für Mode, oder besser gesagt, ihr ist Mode bekannt und sie nutzt die verschiedenen Stile. Ansonsten spielt das bei mir zugegebenermaßen eine untergeordnete Rolle.

  #ScribesAndMakers 2 May: When you finish a project, do you tend to feel that you have everything just the way you want it, or is it more like 'good enough'? I know there is always something I can change, make better (or worse), but that is a never-ending story. At some point, I need to let go. And I guess that is more often the "good enough" than the "oh! it's perfect!" point.
