I guess in some states it’s only a wrist slap worthy misdemeanor for killing someone by car unless you are intoxicated or leave the scene of the crash or if there are minors involved.
Why are our laws such that it’s a different level of crime to drive while drunk versus driving sober at high speed? Aren’t you willfully endangering others?
is there a state by state breakdown of those laws. In nyc it seems that people get killed by car and have no justice.
