This needs to be a message beyond GOOG/APPLE. Banks, state agencies and others need to ensure their apps are available to people who don't use the Big 2 - and indeed to those who don't have any smartphone (yes they do exist)

@faduda Banks, in particular, are blocking their apps on unlocked or non-Google-based Android-derived platforms, citing some kind of security-related reasoning. I haven't seen a good explanation as to why this makes sense -- do scammers force their victims to bootloader unlock their phones? How would that work? Why?
