I kind of knew I was going to have to extricate myself from the Apple ecosystem some day, but until now I couldn’t face the effort it’d take. Looks like it’s time to roll my sleeves up and get started.

@baz@mastodon.scot @KimSJ@mastodon.social I've been feeling the same, it's come on me for a while - seeing Tim Apple licking Trump’s backside for example. I've been embedded in the ecosystem since 1991, early adopter of every flavour of .Mac, MobileMe, iCal, you name it, because they were ethical, and their stuff ‘just worked’. Both of those positions have changed. Eg the latest Contacts.app on Mac is childishly awful.
