I described the name 'natural gas' as being very 'newspeak'. This person replied: " @artemis The term was coined nearly 200 years ago. This is easy to look up if you have Internet access, and is a great way to avoid the embarrassment of demontrating in pubic how you either don't know how to look stuff up you don't know about, or are too lazy to try '" ......... .......... I guess they aren't familiar with the Orwellian term? I meant it in the sense of deliberately manipulating how you think about a thing. Did you read 'newspeak' and think it means 'new'?
