I'm surprised people don't see this as blatant projection. Nazis aren't smart, but they know to target where the most easy recruits are. Dbzero is full of anarchists, who are historically so antinazi we have trouble getting along with other leftists. On the other hand, constructing a "they're the real Nazis!" narrative allows them to push Lemmy World (the biggest instance with the most "centrist" views, the best target for Nazi infiltration) into isolation. Especially isolation from people who recognize and vehemently fight the first signs of Nazis: anarchists. Lemmy.world (and Feddit.org clearly) needs to clean their own house; they're being actively attacked from inside.

Pretty disgusted to see Feddit.org allowed this content to stay up for so long and try to frame the Quokk.au and Dbzer0 admin team as Nazis simply because we dared to defederate their instance for its pro-Zionist stance. I honestly haven’t thought of them once in the year since we blocked them, apparently we are still fresh on their minds. I feel at the very least they should make a public retraction of this post, explaining how it was misinformation and ban the user who spread it.

The only problem I have with the evidence presented is the wayback links only show how it looks now rather than the time of the incident. It would be really shitty if they doctored the image to stir up some shit and divide us even more. I think so many people found it believable because of how toxic some folks can be. Let's remain vigilant so that nazis don't feel welcome here but we absolutely should not overreact without sufficient evidence.

Maybe I just don't understand how the capture dates work on waybackmachine, but the only two captures were made today, at a time after the original post was seemingly deleted. When I was trying to locate the source of the screenshot yesterday there was also no entry in the waybackmachine yet for that URL. Am I just not understanding how this works or is there something else here? Edit: I see now that the URL given yesterday for "proof" and the URL captured are just two different URLs. And the captured URL also still works, so there's no discrepancy here

Both Lemmy & Mastodon has a lot of genocidal pro-Zionist neoliberal fascists. Oddly at least one instance I know of claims to be welcome to LGBTQ+, people of color, and disabled people, but then all they do is praise Israel, hate on Muslims & claim they are perpetual victims of antisemitism. What is this crap though with all the Nazi association these days because of what a single user says or does? That is like when MAGA claims all leftists are violent extremists & domestic terrorists because of the actions of one person. People should just block those they don't want to see & move on. Do you know how manipulative & weak minded these people are? They literally are using the Israeli playbook. They screech: Nazis, antisemites, ban them, cancel them, freeze their bank accounts, contact their employers, blacklist them, threaten their families & their children, stalk & harass them, someone should kill them, and so on. That should tell you who the real Nazi fascists are.

The first screenshot was live on the link, until a db0 admin replied to it... Then it was deleted, it just 404'd... But now, now the link works again. And I was curious why it would be archiving fringe social media, it archived once an hour ago. So after the Nazis deleted it, they put this in it's place and archived it hoping no one would notice the timestamp, and you almost immediately posted it here... Where did you see this? You're probably only a single Kevin Bacon or two away from the actual Nazis, if you share where you heard this from, it would be incredibly beneficial in rooting them out.

This seems to be dbzero stirring up drama. Of course there will be Nazis on an instance. I'm sure they are on .ml too. But it's drama because just last week dbzero talked about defederation with .world because .world wasn't not anti Nazi enough. I tried to reply to dbzero'santi .world statement that promoting "Death to Israel" was extreme and got banned. ( In the same post I agreed with Free Palestine and Death to Zionism. ) dbzero then started a community dedicated to .world not being anti Nazi enough.
