They're dead to me, monetarily and openly supporting a white supremacist is a bridge too far. Note that it wasn't just they were unaware and denounced him afterwards, they explicitly were fine with this even after finding out.

It's a shame, I bought one of their laptops before all this. Guess I won't be swapping motherboards when the time comes.
They're not the only ones making more repairable hardware though. MNT Reform is significantly more open still. Tough to justify over a used laptop with more performance, but still cool.

@walnut yeah I mean it just seems like guilt by association which feels like a bad reason not to support a company that is finally developing good repairable hardware. The issue in this super connected world is you can find someone unsavory connected to literally anyone.
