In my french class and the other students and teachers ask casually if Canada has "le train grande vitesse" and are shocked that a "developed" country like Canada does not.

@reece And the conventional ones frequently arrive late. I'm planning our trip to the Rockies and here are the delays the train "Canadian" have incurred since February, on arrival at Vancouver: ? ? ? ? ? 3h x 2h 3h ? ? ? x 3h x 1h 8h ? 4h x 8h x x ? means no data (failed tracking) x means on time or in advance 8h delay occurred twice! 😬 The main reason: passenger transit has lower priority behind fret convoys.
