"Dont stop things from getting worse! Instead, let the apathy take hold, and stay home instead of voting."

I mean, I think voting in the midterm is prudent, but we also have to primary Jeffrey's and Schumer.

It takes a Senate supermajority to remove him from office.

Fuck this corporate shill and everyone who doesn't oppose him continuing as leader next term. He's worse than useless. He's actively harmful and has always been.

On the one hand, I get where Jeffries is coming from. Even if the Democrats take the Senate, chances of a removal are slim to none since they won't have the votes for a removal. So why waste time on constant impeachments that go nowhere - better to focus on something that maybe makes a difference. On the other hand, the principal of the thing says yes impeach him over and over again. Even if there's no removal, we need to make it clear that Trump's a tyrant and operating illegally and unconstitutionally.

Boy this already huh. Maybe I'll have to save this: >When asked if impeachment was a top priority, Jeffries said “of course not” during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday.” >“I’ve made clear from the very beginning that our top priority is going to be to drive down the high cost of living,” the House minority leader added. >“We believe in this country, you work hard, you play by the rules. You should be able to live an affordable life, a comfortable life, in fact, to live the good life, and that means a good paying job and good housing, good health care, good education for your children, and when it’s all said and done, a good retirement,” he added.

FYI betting markets used to work when it was niche experts, now that’s it’s a combination of morons and scrubs versus scammers and com artists, they’re not very useful.

That account has been posting consistently for 3 years. Is it easier to just call every leftist a bot than confront the fact that people like Chuck Schumer and Hakime Jefferies do not want what we want and are going to fight us just as hard as any republican?

> My only interest is getting republicans and Trump out of office because nothing else is possible until that happens. Clearly. You seem to be willing to change nothing else in the process as well. I personally think we're collectively past status quo and bandaids. Things need to change, and change fucking *drastically*, or we'll just get another Trump again in the near future. Our politics are *deeply* corrupt and you cannot expect those of us not dunking our heads in the kool-aid to be chill with neoliberal oligarchy. Punch left all you like, all you're doing is engaging in the neoliberal past time of being an aloof loser.

>Obama tried to lay the groundwork for single payer health insurance but it was blocked by republicans He was blocked by 40 republican senators? A parliamentarian? Crazy how republicans are never blocked like this. The only conclusion we can draw from dem actions is that they agree with genocide, ICE, allocating healthcare by wealth, etc, but know its unpopular with the people whose votes they're asking for. >My only interest is getting republicans and Trump out of office because nothing else is possible until that happens. You know what doesn't help? Telling people to shut the fuck up and vote for a party that openly despises them. You know what can help? Keeping people activated on their issues. This only works if the dems don't stand up to their own base.
