Busy day with lots of parts. Just returned from helping at an Eagle Scout project to update and digitize maps of veterans at the big cemetery in town. The data entry part takes a few minutes per grave allowing for contemplation. Thinking about all those who serve in wars, wondering how it marked them, who they were. Came across a marker for two WWI nurses, sharing a headstone. Were they sisters? Friends? Lovers? Born and died a year apart, lived into their 90’s. What changes they must have seen.
