@nusher Even then, some clinicians just could not get to the point of using them competently, because "training" in that context involved a lot of user training, both in how to establish their particular context and lexicon (front-loaded effort) but also how to properly conform to the necessary constraints of clinical reporting forms (an ongoing effort, the speech equivalent of filing in standardized forms).
Many cases, we deployed dictation recording, forwarded to trained transcriptionists.

@nusher ... because that was the ONLY way everyone was comfortable completing the legal/regulatory sign-off on deployment because that instance of a system could not be considered safe for patients if its clinician-operator was not sufficiently grasping the tech.
