@hweimer can you build those on top of existing buildings like supermarkets and parking garages, or to shade parking lots to simulate the fact that you do not need to topple any trees to be able to successfully build a solar energy system?

@whangdoodler To some extent you could certainly do that, maybe not at the same price per kW. But you are right that land usage is a challenge, although it's better than surface mining of coal.
