To some extent you could certainly do that, maybe not at the same price per kW. But you are right that land usage is a challenge, although it's better than surface mining of coal.

@hweimer its better than surface mining coal, but is that the standard we want to set? 🤔 most sensible thing for humans and climate would be have smaller lots of solar farms in between and on top build surroundings. not as inviting to investors but over all better and decentralised.. 😌
