@SomeVeganCheeseIsOk @ApostateEnglishman tRump has a great deal of admiration for the king (so much so he wants to be one) so he listens closely to Charlie’s words. The speech to congress was good (probably has to be simplified for tRump to understand) and there may be some potential from the visit yet. Hopefully the white pieces (being moved by various people who think beyond today) will be able to corner the black and find a solution.

@Rickd6 @ApostateEnglishman yup. You use the tools you have, and royal influence on foreign government decisions is one tool the brits have. It might be something that only works well on stupid people, but the biggest problem I have seen smart people doing for the past 10 years is treating stupid people like they were smart, or trying to change them, instead of meeting them at the level they're at and speaking their cultural language.
