I've published an article about my D12 Dungeon Crawling System. It makes dungeon crawling a bit more interesting by keeping track of a Tension value which dynamically affects how dangerous the dungeon is, providing real mechanical consequences when the party makes excessive noise or otherwise attracts attention, and so on.
