@heydon Not sure what the context of this is, but I believe kids (along with parents) deserve to go about tin the world.
But they are *kids*, so yeah, they'll be noisy. I'm quite sensitive to noise, but at the end of the day, I want to live in a world where kids aren't barred from being in public places (along with their parents).
There is a movement to bar kids from more and more spaces and I find it a worrying one.

@torb Yeah it was inspired by a family staying in the room next to us in a (purportedly) quiet and peaceful resort who were up at 11pm SHOUTING at each other with all their doors and windows open. Just totally unnecessary noise pollution. The kid really was less a problem than the parents.
