@i@declin.eu oh i'm not worried, i'm on a single user instance and nobody listens to me anyways. i'd be worried about remote code execution, but not impersonation.
i was mostly just curious if it was real and why. but if there's no public info anywhere then i guess there isn't.
the fact that it affects pleroma but not akkoma honestly almost makes me more curious

@quad@akko.quad.moe akkoma rewrote a lot of the code to make it simpler, while pleroma would patch it with a couple more ownership checks on a retry path
