@rat Based on the explanations I just listened to, someone needs to blow this guy's mind by telling him about install(1). ( man 1 install ) Edit: In that he puts a lot of work into explaining creating a ~/bin/ directory, adding it to $PATH, the mv(1)ing things into it to install. The unix idiom would be to install(1) into -d~/bin I think.
