@Sobex@social.sciences.re it was quite clever, and the bitting on the key spelled out "alice", which was really cool! It was a 4-lever lock that his the levers behind a large cylindrical ward, so once I explored the keyway and got an idea of what was going on, I used long probes to attack the levers through the lid of the box, so I could avoid the warding.
