@sellathechemist In university negotiation competitions, teams receive points for reaching an agreement within the allotted time; but in the real world, parties negotiate with their best alternative to a negotiated agreement (BATNA) in mind, and there's no time limit.

@fgbjr Lots of papers have headlines about “marathon negotiations”. Less than 24 hrs is nothing. Does no one remember how long he JPCOA took?
