@fdroidorg already on alpha8 and have no idea why. The only improvement I see is that Search was moved away from main screen :blobcatthumbsup:

@exitcode@fosstodon.org The point of the compact option was to make more room for actual useful content. By moving the search bar in the bottom bar we've done two things: free some space and help users reach search without doing hand gymnastics to the top of the screen.
