@exitcode@fosstodon.org The point of the compact option was to make more room for actual useful content. By moving the search bar in the bottom bar we've done two things: free some space and help users reach search without doing hand gymnastics to the top of the screen.

@fdroidorg@floss.social that's all good. Why not to keep compact option to make even more room for content? And not just for main window but for apps list too.
