@neilhenning humans are not token predictors and claiming that they are would require significant evidence. I think a lot of people are really led astray by a mix of llm marketing, and pop scifi tropes about the mind.

@neilhenning like even in the most basic sense, (incorrectly) assuming that humans can only post-rationalize their actions, the *inputs* to your rationalization aren't comparable to a strictly bounded history of generated tokens. So it's pretty deeply different ya kno.
