Looking for self-hosting advice, with a focus on using ethical hardware and software (no nazis/far-right/white supremacists): Thinking about getting a ZimaBlade to set up my own homelab and self-hosted cloud. My priority list for what I'd like to host, from highest to lowest, and with the app I have in mind in parens/brackets, is: Images (Immich) Documents/Office (Cryptpad?) Music (no idea) Password manager (BitWarden) Videos (VLC? no idea, really) My household uses almost exclusively Android for mobile devices (there may be an iPad around here...), Windows and Linux for OSes, and a few game consoles (Switch, Xbox). I also need to figure out an encrypted off-site storage solution if I'm going to host my own images and BitWarden. Suggestions for everything welcome, except BitWarden, unless your suggestion fits all the qualifications of BitWarden but is somehow better (or it turns out they're nazis or something). Bonus points for software and hardware that come from queer and BIPOC creators. I am happy to pay a bit more if it means it's going to those communities.
