Oh wow, a ton of 86-DOS source code was recently recovered and released! Tim Patterson dug out the original source printouts from his garage, and they've been scanned and OCR'd back into files. The original printouts are going to the Interim Computer Museum, full scans in PDF format are on archive.org, and the reconstructed source code was released by Microsoft under the MIT license. There's some truly interesting stuff here!
