the annoying thing about showing government IDs as a prerequisite to publishing software is it's a bar that all the most dangerous threat actors have no trouble meeting, either because they buy access to someone else's account or because they are a state actor and can just forge ID and get away with it.
but at the same time it's a bar that is impossible to meet for anyone publishing software that genuinely criticizes power towards a political end and is concerned about reprisal for doing so

@ireneista our accessibility app on google is unavailable, because we refuse to deadname ourselves to google. (we want to close it, but google refuses.) we also receive an e-mail every couple of months, asking if we want to sell our disfunctioning google app-store account. think the offer was $300.
