Filling in my Common Place Book with quotes from Proust I noticed a couple of things: • Proust is verbose, occupying 1/4 of the page at once. • It’s better to write in longhand for future legibility. Which is part of the problem of verbosity and page occupation. • Resulting from these two, it’s going really slow for my Common Place filling. But it matters for future me, so I’m ready to tolerate that.
