@leeloo it would work for EVERY program that implemented it. Adopting a standard would work for all that currently adhere to whatever the standard is adopted to be, plus any program that doesn’t currently adhere and decides to switch. Software should work as users expect it to. There are significant numbers who expect different things. It’s not that hard. Make either explanation work.
