Time to re-image by Thinkpad - https://www.phoronix.com/news/Ubuntu-AI-Features-2026 - but what should I replace Ubuntu with? I love the Budgie desktop but the vanilla Debian version is missing the Ubuntu Budgie theme and polish. Maybe time to run https://elementary.io and cross my fingers that I don’t encounter a milkshake duck scenario in the near future?

@andy47@aus.social Not sure what you are trying to dodge in Ubuntu with elementary as that will be at the same point “real soon now™️”. Only big players of non-shit seem to be Debian or OpenSuSE. Others? Slackware or Arch
