Self care is... Declining a date tomorrow with someone I really want to share space with. I had to ask myself if I was going to be uncomfortable, and if I have the energy to be whole for the evening. And I don't. I'm still healing from the psychic wounds that recent news brought. Hopefully I'll finish doing the work to disentangle my feelings about long ago connections, and will stop allowing this to affect me so strongly. Self awareness doesn't mean you skip mourning, unaffected. #SelfCare
