in vscode itself, there's no link to a "profile" for the author - clicking the name searches for other plugins by the author.
The sidebar shows "Resources", which again doesn't link to an about this author page.
It does link to a bunch of github pages for repo/issues/license ... (in this case they're all 404s - maybe the vscode marketplace should subscribe to repos via webhooks or something, so it notices when the repo or user are deleted?)

The doc also explains that the plugin host has the same permissions as vscode, which has the same permissions as the user who's running vscode who windows told me had to be an admin on the computer and also signed into microsfot cloud-thingy... and I just gotta ask ... "howcome?" like, what business does an editor plugin have writing shit outside the project dir or sending signals 'n' shit to programs I'm running by default? idk Maybe I just didn't see the checkbox for "ask me every time" because the checkboxes are actually just a .json config
