I&#39;ve been working on this #documentary about one of my mentors, David MacDonald since 2022. He was a professor at Syracuse University for over forty years and is a beloved figure in the #ceramics world. This project has been an immense undertaking. My hope is to finish shooting by spring 2027 and to complete post-production by 2028. At this point, I think we could benefit from the addition of a producer. @potterybyosa That sounds amazing. Are you considering doing some sort of crowd-funding to help with production costs? @potterybyosa OMG i think he was mh ex’s ceramics professor. he graduated from Syracuse in painting and ceramics. i resent he took all his ceramics with him.

@potterybyosa Very nicely done from every perspective, and I would love to see the full film when finished. We truly do need to keep artistic history alive for it to inspire the next generation. And, I also think @_elena would be someone to ask about the production side of filming.

@potterybyosa a long shot, but would suggest getting in touch with the team behind Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown and asking for their advice. It's an incredible story (I want to make/share some lasagna too!), and thankyou for the intro to makertube :)
