Just started playing with @adamghill&#39;s https://fediview.com/ and it&#39;s very much the kind of thing that I was planning to write about next week regarding things I was hoping to see developers creating for mastodon... (a very simple algorithm for finding useful posts that you control, rather than the platform)

I’m enjoying not having an algorithm from the standpoint of there is no reward for rage farming and allowing me to discover fascinating tidbits or random odd discussions that I otherwise would never have. But having an algorithm (or several) that I control or use to further delve the fediverse sounds like win-win.

@mmasnick@mastodon.social @adamghill@indieweb.social Oh, wow, this is lovely. I just started using it, and it felt natural. I really like how the link at the bottom left of the toot takes you to a view of it from your own instance, allowing you to interact with it. If only #fediview was another tab I could click, besides "Home", "Local", "Federated", etc!
