Planning an outing to Amsterdam > Haag > Antwerp in the start of May. If you have any suggestions for record stores (digging for highlife, soukous from ~56–78, 80s–90s indie, shoegaze, some neo-classical, and whatever obscure gems I come across), they are most welcome!

@monokrom@typo.social In The Hague, your best bets would be Fried Records (specialized in punk/garage/indie) 3345 (mostly new vinyl, but also decent stream of used records); Bert’s Records (90% used vinyl, lots of 80s, cash only) and Vinyl Grove (decent selection of rock and highlife, some collector’s items). All in or near city centre.

@monokrom@typo.social For Amsterdam its Second Life (bring cash / not on discogs) for 80es–90s wave and indie. Rush-Hour has store only selections. Record Mania changed owners and has more African music now. Vintage Voudou would have been your place, but does not have a physical store anymore. I’ll ask.
