Money is, *waves hand*, helpful; but just a thing. It's not valuable in itself, only in what things it can be transacted to get people to do for you. If you trade inspiration for transactional power, then you no longer need to lead people, just money. @doctormo What a fascinating development. How long do we think until we see a COMPLETELY UNRELATED post about how artwork that is created via Blender is by default available to Anthropic for training purposes?

@doctormo I think we on the Fediverse don't see how for the vast majority of people, even most Blender users, Claude is a cool impressive tool, so they will like this. We know that they are built on theft and are destroying the open internet, but it's not magnitudes worse than when Meta joined as a Patron. I despise Meta, but big shitty companies exist and it's not Blender's job to get rid of them.
