V@Broadfork@mastodon.green I have bought a bush bean to dry variety that I wanted to try this year. The others are runners. And I remember from a few years back that the runners have a longer cultivation period. I think, I will try out different methods to test for the best results. Thanks for your replies.

@levampyre Best of luck finding what works well in your conditions. Butter beans are a larger bean to harvest dry and store that you should look at. They also have a shorter cultivation time to runner beans. I grow two excellent varieties of butter bean called Greek and Czar.
