@BobLefridge Or just let all the oldies have it whenever they first realise it's important? Sometimes this means going against the advice of their GP. Yeah, I know, if your GP says you don't need a vaccine that even stingy old Pharmac reckons has enough evidence of efficacy they are prepared to pay for it, then you need a new GP. But by the time you work it out the window has probably closed. @thomasbeagle @thirzajane

    @RedRobyn @BobLefridge @thomasbeagle @thirzajane I think the window should be wider, but the problem with funding it for the entire age range is that the start-up cost is unpredictable and perhaps very large. If even half a million people got it the first year it became available that's a serious chunk of Pharmac's budget for the year.
