@ljwrites Mostly the bits I end up using are legit history that games haven't much bothered with (in the current project I have a bit about innkeepers' roles in elder care, for example, based on something real), but I'm happy to take history's discards, too (castles arranged to protect the family from their own mercenaries? Only according to a discredited theory! So, in it goes!) 😁
