What I've found over nearly seven decades of living on this mudball, is that what someone looks like is far less interesting and indicative of "who they are" than their beliefs, attitudes, principles, and behavior. You can see the most gorgeous woman or man, and find out they are nasty to wait staff and underlings, and create toxic environments. They can be shorter than the norm, have scraggly hair, and have a broken voice, and be absolute darlings If I were to peg ONE attribute, it's kindness

I also just want to postscript here that in the history of the species (except maybe during Bacchanalia) it has never been easier to meet, befriend, and date women. So many social barriers have dissolved, women have more to share and are eager to do so, and all a guy needs to do is be a person and not be a fascist. Like just don't be a dick

I remember when I was in school in high school, the class was asked to rate the most important aspects they thought about in their future partners. I don't exactly remember the context, but I listed "beauty" as my #1 priority. I remember being ready to defend that "beauty" was not simply a physical trait, but "in the eye of the beholder". I still hold this view that beauty is not only a physical trait. I think confidence and kindness and attention and care and a lot of positive traits are visible and otherwise apparent to the other senses as someone moves through the world, such as the way they walk, or smile.
