@pixelambacht the ‘per 100,000’ views licensing for web fonts has always seemed insane to me. Why would I buy something that I can’t predict the long term cost of? How do I sell that to a client? It’s not like anyone charges for fonts by how much traffic a billboard or poster gets! Makes me wonder how many sales fonts actually see for web specific usage.

@pixelambacht To be fair… it's not just a webfont thing, right? “Marketers described spending time in client meetings justifying why a website costs money at all, let alone why using a web designer requires a different skillset than using a print designer. Many said they’ve simply defaulted to Canva in those situations because the explanation is too difficult.”
