Comments by my children upon watching Starship Troopers for the first time:
I can't wait until the bugs kill all of these people

They both read the book so we were able to discuss a fair bit about the themes and ideas therein and how they were parodied in the movie and we will probably revisit some of the better critiques of both but really I'm just psychologically laying the ground work to watch Robocop (1987)
