Tired of the platypus being framed as "weird". All we hear is speciesist anti-platypus bias: "Oh haha, they have a duck's bill and feet, a beaver's tail, lay eggs like reptiles and have venom like snakes. Ridiculous!" It's well past time we started describing ducks as having webbed feet and bills like a platypus, beavers as having platypus tails, that reptiles lay eggs just like the platypus, and snakes can inflict venom like, you guessed it, a platypus. #TeamPlatypus
