When oil was cheap it didn’t make financial sense to replace a working system with a heat pump. Now those who can afford the capital outlay would be mad not to. It doesn’t make financial sense to replace a gas boiler with a get pump. But it will. Meanwhile people are having gas pipelines installed because of the oil price. 🤦
