@Deepseacreatur3@thicc.horse That sounds very relevant. Okay, next up: have you ever installed nvidia's proprietary drivers on this system? Because if you have, my guess would be that the version you have installed is not compatible with the upgraded kernel, and you need to do whatever nvidia magic is needed (sorry, I can't really help you there!) to upgrade the graphics drivers to a more recent version, and probably ideally the latest version.
