@zkat @jokeyrhyme I understand that this is a difficult time but this argument is kind of a strawman. I use llms on a daily basis and in my option asking thaura to estimate how long my todo items should take is not destroying art nor replacing jobs. The second I have the option to vote for someone who'll regulate big tech companies and improve the labor situation in my country I'll gladly take it.

@nihilistic_capybara @zkat @jokeyrhyme It's not really a strawman though, at best it's a an oversimplification that leaves out the edge cases and clear minority of AI users who try to pick models that are as ethical as possible. You can definitely argue that that's unfair and the post is brushibg over some nuances, but a strawman this does not make.

  • @nihilistic_capybara @zkat @jokeyrhyme You want to defend using LLMs and asking it to estimate the time you need for items on your to do list is the best you could think of? Why do you even think about doing this? I don't want to be rude or for you to feel bad, but this usecase sounds really silly.
