I booted up Windows on work laptop this fine morning, went to make a coffee and came back. Windows says: Restarting with the indicator spinning for 5 min. Then: Progress X% Keep your computer on. Another 10 minutes, no explanation. Reboots and barks: Installing updates, Keep your computer on. No user input, no questions about if this is convenient or not. You just stare at it doing whatever it wants. I don't understand how anyone still pays money for it and puts up with this crap voluntarily.
