Twenty-five years ago today, on 28 April 2001, we tested our TCP/IP over avian carriers (RFC1149) implementation.

@pitrh A modernized version of this could be called "SNeakernet Over Pigeon Exchange Standard" aka SNOPES. Implementers could place trackers on the pigeons' other leg to help prevent packet loss and track data transfer speeds.
