i already wasn't happy to see a 158 commit pr by him w/ a bunch of imported claude commits -- also the data model is... a git blob with a json array of actions?
the idea seems good, but this execution is, sheesh

@navi @mia looked to see if google's git appraise (https://github.com/google/git-appraise) had a better execution and it seems to also be just json
