@Tessa @eri It’s frequently really hard to put our own desires and needs ahead of those of partners or family. I feel like there’s a line we all kinda walk to both push forward, and yet not alienate or shock those we care about. Even when we have support, we still have our own self-doubts and baggage to process. I am so happy that you’ve found your path forward. It’s not nearly as easy a journey as many people think.

@steff yeahhh, when you land in a situation where people's fundamental needs/wants are at odds *relating to identity/sexuality*, that's a really tough situation. you just have to find what is an okay thing to compromise on and what isn't - and you only find that out by feeling it out. i feel like one in a million with how much @eri and i align with each other: we're just kind of on the same page about everything and we're always hyping each other up to be our best selves and to take space to feel feelings before making decisions. it's such a gift :blobCatSnug:
