I'm very angry with the NSW treasurer Daniel Mookhey in the news saying that the pay rise for nurses and mid wives, "will be borne by the tax payer". Yeah, no shit. Not necessarily inaccurate. However you would never, *never* hear them say this about police, the army, or themselves. It's an unnecessary dig at a group of workers, mostly women, in a feminised industry, and it sounds an awful lot like, "listen hear you bunch of uppity strumpets". Do better Labor. This is one for the Ernie Awards. #auspol #nswpol
